The shoe is a high-priced headliner for Brooks this year, and overall, it performs well. Its main advantage is that its relatively light (12 oz.) and smooth striding. The midsole started out feeling quite soft, almost sluggish, out of the box, but seemed to pack down quickly and feels as responsive as a faster trainer should.
